Acqua Group celebrates winning bronze in the Branding category at White Square, one of the main creative communication festivals in Eastern Europe and the main marketing and advertising event in Belarus, for the “deSidera” communication project realized for Teatro Oscar in Milan.

The deSidera project started in Bergamo more than seventeen years ago, born from the passion of Giacomo Poretti (from the famous Italian comic trio Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo), Luca Doninelli and Gabriele Allevi. Acqua Group wanted to represent their heart and soul through a claim that is an appeal to every single spectator, to “live, love, desire” the theatre, and through a unique visual language: the charm and emotion of typographic fonts.

The bronze medal at White Square follows the victory at the Media Key Interactive Key Awards in the Environment, Responsible Consumption, Non-profit Initiatives category for the 2019 Pink Ribbon campaign “Tutto si completa” on breast cancer created for the AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research, 2nd place in the Events category, and 3rd place in the Multimedia category at the Branded Content & Entertainment Awards of ADC Group for the campaign “ReLoveMi” by Euronics, the greatest declaration of love ever made to the city of Milan.

As well as winning these awards, Acqua was also shortlisted for others: Effie Italy in the Small Budget category for the awareness campaign on cultural diversity “#Integraction” created for Fondazione Pubblicità Progresso and ACRA, in the White Square Print category for the “Dolls” campaign on psychological violence created for Global Humanitaria Italia Onlus. Acqua was also nominated at the Interactive Key Awards in the Business to Business category and in the Media & Educational, P.A. category, for the “Savills Tenant School” project: the first business community tool to enhance the value of resources employed in shopping centres, created for Savills Italia.

As Davide Arduini, President of Acqua Group, states, “We are delighted that the value of projects in which we have strongly believed is recognised” and, continues Andrea Cimenti, CEO of Acqua Group, “We are happy to be able to celebrate also the successes achieved by Young Digitals – the digital creative company of our group, led by CEO Michele Polico – at the Interactive Key Awards and the NC Awards”.

Francesco Guerrera, Group Executive Creative Director of Acqua Group, adds: “We are very happy with the results achieved so far. Taking part and winning prizes is not only rewarding for those who work in our industry, but also an important recognition of the quality of the work. I have never experienced awards as a starting point for a brief, if anything they are an end point. The mantra in our agency is to create excellent work for our clients, if that excellence brings awards, well we’ll enjoy them”.
